Located just a few blocks southeast of Salt Lake City’s CBD is 9th &9th. One could make a pretty good claim that this neighborhood is one of the hippest places to live, work and play in Utah. The real estate market in this area reflects that with homes priced well about the Salt Lake County average. With home values averaging $740,000 over the last year it’s great once you’re in the market but buying a home can be tough in this location. Its criteria to have a good real estate agent in general but in these highly desirable markets with low inventories of homes and condos it’s the difference between success and failure. 9th and 9th area is very walkable to many commercial services including Salt Lake Region Hospital, University of Utah, Tower Theatre and the Coffee Garden to name a few. With flat treeline streets and neighborhood park pepper throughout it is easy to see why this is a very popular spot. Also, homes and condos in this location make ideal rents in the event you decide to move. Most of the homes in this area were built from 1920 to1950 with 2000 sq ft or less and lot sizes typically ranging .08-.15 acre.
